Anyone find a beat yellow star valk with KC on the top? Played today and noticed it wasn't in my bag. It would have been left behind on hole 5 7 or maybe 11.  REWARD if returned!!

What an awesome windy day! Thanks to all the sponsors and volunteers for all your work. Especially Todd Beishline. You da man!

Nice aces by Lucas West on #13 and Ricky Watkins on #10.

Sweet trophies Joe DeVito!

Thanks for everyone who participated in all of the fun.

Chelsea Carl ran away with the Adv. Women's Div. with a 136.

Troy Widden birdied his way to nice -10 98 with 2 1000+ rated 49s and a 4 stroke victory for his 4th B-Tier win this year! Enjoy Troy!

A lot of close calls with some 1 shot wins in 3 out of the other 5 divisions!

Sean Young narrowly beat Ben "Boom Boom" Basilio for the win in Adv. Men's.

Nice 1st place finishes to some local guys battling it out.

Jarad Newman (110) nudged out Chris Sweet (111) for his 1st win in Adv. Masters. Nice work Mr. Newman!

Zack Parsell won in a 2 hole playoff on hole #2 by beating both Michael Cupples and Glenn Zinszer who all shot 110. What pressure?!

Dan Rice shot a 128 to cruise to a 5 throw advantage over Scott Mott to take Adv. Senior Grand Masters. Thanks for getting there in the nick of time Dan!

And of course, Mr. Todd Beishline knocking down the Rec. Div. with a 126 to beat Jim Lovell by 1. Yay Todd!

P.S. If you want to win a basket in the raffle, please assemble one before the tournament. Apparently the mojo works! Right Ben, Spence, and Jarad?

Its over already?  47 showed up to the final week of league this year.  Allen Risley came all the way from Californee just to hang with us.  He is PDGA#1752, which means he's been playing longer than you.  He was in town to care for his mother and the karma paid off by winning a CTP and a nice DD lucid verdict with and EMac/Ralph stamp on it donated by the man, EMac, himself.  We shook things up on hole 9 this week by putting a short tee to a temp basket up on a picnic table surrounded by OB.  I think it worked out well.  There was a tie for first with Dylan/Britt and Spencer/Glassman shooting 45's.  We did a throwoff on #1 with Dylan and Britt taking it.  Top spots were;

Dylan/Britt - 45 - 64$
Spencer/Glassman - 45 - 42$
EMac/Capt. Jim - 46 - 30$
Troy/Les is More Murray - 46 - 30$
Capt. O'Malley/Doug Eastfall - 46 - 30$
Simple Jake/Lucas East - 47 - 20$
Hooper et Hooper - 47 - 15$ (X-man)
Meitus Touch/360 Dustin - 20$

Full and final leaderboard is at;

CTPs were all on the modified hole 9 and were;
A pool was Meitus for 15$.
B pool was Allen Risley for 20$.  Allen was the closest of the 3 and took the EMac disc as well.
C pool was the one and only Denise Cameroooooon.

The ace pool was untapped and we'll have 126$ to throw off for at the finale on Sunday September 28.

Thanks to all for coming, not just tonight but the whole season.  I hope everyone had a great time.  Thanks to Jason G. for helping out early in the season and also to Zack, Barret and Karl for helping out with cards and cash.  I know a lot of people helped every week, but I don't have the time to list everyone.

Please keep the year end finale in mind and let me know if you are attending.  I'll get some more details up in the next week or so.

We are at Jamesville Beach on 9/10. Bring your 10$ and this week, due to it getting dark out earlier, registration will close at 5:10.  That doesn't mean you have to be there at 5:10.  This will just give me the ability to get cards filled out and get people on the course a few minutes earlier.  If you are arriving after 5:10 or text me (315-415-3660) to let me know so we can get your name on the list. At 5:10 we will ask if anyone knows of anyone showing up late and we'll walk the lot to check for stragglers. After that you are out of luck. Being considerate to late arrivals means disrespecting the people that arrived on time and are waiting to get their round started. Feel free to call me with any questions.

Please be prepared to throw your mini in a competive manner.  We were unable to utilize hole 9 last week, so I'm thinking this week that hole 9 may be a mini hole.

 If you know of any new people planning on coming, or if you are inviting new players, share this information with them.

Tournaments / A DG event like no other!

On Oct 4th 2014 (not 9/20 as originally slated) the Ausable Chasm tourist attraction (a 2 mile long, 150 deep, narrow sandstone gorge) in the Adirondacks of NY will host the 3rd annual "Steady" Ed Safari. This tournament, sponsored by DGA, is guaranteed to be like nothing you have ever experienced before...unless you have played a tournament in which you threw discs off 100 ft cliffs, over whitewater rapids, into baskets perched under towering rock formations, in which a raft guide ferrys you across the river and kayakers fetch your floating discs. DGA sponsors the event and allows the use of "Steady" Ed's name (and discs) because this event truly embraces Ed's motto of "the most fun wins" as it focuses on a fun atmosphere more than a competitive tournament.

Read Rattling Chains blog post from last year for a great description of the event:
