Just to clarify, when it is said that we tee off or distribute cards at a certain time, say 5:30, that means that there has been 10-15 minutes of shuffling people around filling out cards prior to that. Most people understand this, but to make things simpler in the future, I will say when registration closes. NEXT WEEK ON 7/16/2014 AT CLAY PARK REGISTRATION FOR LEAGUE WILL CLOSE AT 5:20 AS IT SHOWS UP ON MY PHONE. If you will not be here by 5:20, call myself (315-415-3660), or Jason (315-247-8384). I would recommend if you even think that you’ll be after 5pm to call or text us. I don’t care if I get 40 messages, I’d rather have them then have to turn people away. When people show up after cards are being filled, we have to throw them away, add the person, move people around to make the pools work, then start filling out cards again…then when someone shows up 5 minutes after that, repeat the process. Its not as simple as throwing someone on the list. A simple call or text will take care of it. If anyone has any issues, my phone number is above and they can feel free to call me to discuss in person. This is how it is and if anyone doesn’t like it, they can start their own league and I would be more than happy to help them out on setting up the DGScene and share any information that I have.
Pools. With the huge amount of new people that have started playing in league there are a ton of C poolers. Unfortunately this means that people need to get moved on a regular basis to pools above their level. I want to thank Dave Hartmann who is the first person this year to volunteer to move up. There have been lots of people moving up and thanks for understanding. If anyone wants to complain about their pool they can start their own league and I would be more than happy to help them out on setting up the DGScene and share any information that I have.
If anyone has any constructive suggestions or would like to discuss anything my number is above. Jason has done a great job covering for me while I wasn’t able to fully run this league. Thanks J.
