Hi Mike...Hyzer Creek had one other sanctioned event this year that KC, Matt and I went to.  It was hosted by NEFA.  Hyzer Creek is a great course.  It is like Oxbow on steroids.  No other way to explain it.  We weren't going as I was going to be getting surgery that Friday but it has been postponed so maybe we will.  I'll have to talk to the husband.  You definately should go out and play it though.  It's not too bad of a drive.  I would say from my house it is about 2 hours and 10 minutes.  That is approximate as you would get off at the Amsterdam exit and from there it is only about 15 or 20 minutes. If I remember correctly.  The kids have sports on Saturdays so maybe I'll stay and Don can go.  We'll see.

Mike,
Amy and I are planning on going. Gary Crowley I think also. You are welcome to ride with us if you'd like. We played at the April Showers tourney there and had a great time. Tough course!!! Let me know if you'd like a spot in the van. Peace.  ---jim

With the kids sports events on Saturday I don't think I'll make it but Don hasn't played the course yet and might want to go.  I'm going to see Doug tonight too and see if he wants to go with his brother and play as he will not be playing in our event as to help out to make it run smoothly.  It is a great BIG course.  Definately one that you should go try to play.  If Don goes, it would be that morning.

We'll be leaving in the a.m. that morning. Exit 33 works great for me. If anyone else needs a lift let me know as we'll have room in the van for 1 or 2 more. If any of you guys haven't seen it you won't want to miss it while its freshly groomed. I think there will be at least 4 of us from Auburn going. ---jim

My van is running again. Yayyyy!!! Another $1000 sunk into it but at least I can still drive to Oxbow and Hyzer Creek. Bobby, you're welcome here whenever you show up. Give me a ring beforehand so I can be here to let you in. I'll be at work all night friday night--- Amy and I both until about 5am. Looks like we'll have almost a full van of Auburn folks coming to the CNY's, and hopefully a full van of CNYDGAers for Hyzer Creek. This is who is riding I think:
Oxbow:
me
amy
gary demarse
brian chappell
lew lafleur

Hyzer Creek:
me
amy
bobby
brian
gary
mike t
lew

If I'm forgetting anyone let me know. Peace, jim
