Who wants to play some disc golf on a ball golf course?
« on: August 19, 2013, 10:17:30 AM »
I wanted to get this out there to see what kind of interest there would be...

I've got an "in" at Pine Grove Country Club in Camillus and was asked this weekend if I would be interested in hosting a tournament there.  Depending on the level of interest and what kind of numbers we can come up with, this has the potential to be an epic event!  If we are lucky, we may still have EMAC in town to lend us his course design skills!

There is also the possibility of having golf carts available for the event!

We will need baskets!

Please comment on this thread if you would be interested, have a basket for use, have any ideas, questions, etc.

Thanks!

I live in Camillus now, so I'm interested. My schedule does not allow for many tournaments, but I would attend if I could. I would also help with any planning or pre-work as possible.

I'll contact you offline for more info, but I just figured out which course this would be for me--practically walking distance. Any chance if successful there is room there for anything permanent? Even 9 holes at the edges, etc?

Also, can your "in" tell me the least busy day of the week, if there are any specials, etc. I've been itching for a round of ball golf.
