These are the things that people need to support to get more holes and courses put in.

Course fairies don't install courses, lobbying the right people, peristence and work do.  The right people will be at this event.  Show your support.

Come out, have fun and donate to a great cause.

Thought I was the only one that believed in course fairies! They are the ones that take ur disc, when u hit all chain, and throw it out! I think they were conjured up from the netherworld by those mystical LARPers

Thanks to everyone who showed up, despite the rain.  There were 23 people who showed up to play.  Thanks to Doug Courbat who helped get things going.

Also, a big thanks to:
Greg Hooper, Barrett Bateman, Ryan Salisbury, Matt Bertram, Tony Faes, Steve Ball and Damion McDonald for coming out and supporting a great cause.  Wayne Morris was VERY appreciative of all of us for coming out and throwing with people who for the most part haven't played before. 

We split up into 5 teams of 4 and 1 team of 3 and just did best shot for the fun of it.

There were representatives from many of the surrounding parks departments so it was nice to have Wayne speak so highly of the CNYDGA in front of all of them. 

Good stuff.

Kudos to Doug Bauer and Doug Courbat for running this event and to all who came out to help support the CNYRPS scholarship fund. You guys are the reason we have such great relationships with our parks. Thank you very much!

He did most the work!

However i did mention to all the Park and Rec peeps that discgolf will do the following:

Increase your park value
Increase park use
reduce pollution
solve crime
cure the sick

was I going to far... ;D
